  5.   This is the shareware version of NJStar(tm) version 2.00. It can only be
  6.   distributed free of charge and in verbatim form, no change can  be  made.
  7.   Commercial application is reserved by the author.

  9.   Many hours of work have gone  into  the  development  of  NJSTAR,  and  I
  10.   regularly incorporate suggested changes into the product as I am able to.
  11.   The only way I can continue to provide products like NJSTAR and to  offer
  12.   outstanding technical support, is  for  you  to  register  your  copy  of
  13.   NJSTAR. I like the shareware concept, and I would like to stay a part  of
  14.   it. But I can do so only through registrations of  NJSTAR.  Please  don't
  15.   take this the wrong way - try out NJSTAR for 30  days  or  so,  under  no
  16.   obligation whatsoever. But if you found it is useful and continue to  use
  17.   it after that 30-day period, please pay $49 US dollar  plus mail handling

  60. 1.   For those who know little Chinese, A Version  with  all  the  Prompt,
  61.      Message and pull-down menu in English is prepared. Please  specify  on
  62.      the order form if you prefer this English Version.

  64. 2.   A seperate Hi-resolution (64x64) Laser printing program for NJSTAR is
  65.      under development. Interested user please contact the author for more

  68.                   NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 2.00

  71. (1)  User friendly interface with pull-down menu and mouse support. Most of
  72.      the commands can be accessed  through  the  menu.  Mouse  Buttons  are
  73.      Configurable. Mouse can be used to move the cursor, mark the block and
  74.      scroll the text.
  75.  
  76. (2)  In PinYin mode. NJStar can enter Chinese Word by Word. For example:
  77.      type 'zhongguo' will get 'CHINA'.
  78.  
  79. (3)  Support 10 of most popular  Chinese  Input  Methods. such  as  CangJi,
  80.      DianBao and WuBiZiXin. and user can create their own methods through a
  81.      provided utility INPUTDIC.EXE.
  82.  
  83. (4)  Now Support 9pin & 24pin Epson and IBM Compitable Dot  Printer,  Canon
  84.      Bublejet Printer, HP laserjet and Postscrip Printer. user can specify
  85.      the number of pages to be printed.

  87. (5)  Add <DelLX> for delete LianXiang word within NJSTAR.

  89. (6)  AutoSave current file to AUTOSAVE.NJX for possible recovery in case of
  90.      power failure or other unexpected errors. User will be noticed if such

  94.      The Cursor can be configured to be Blinking as in text mode.

  99.      from file by <ReadMacro> command.

  103. (11) Add <FileList> for Listing  all  the  files  in  the  file  ring,  and
  104.      displaying in a window, Use arrow keys or mouse to move, Enter or Left
  105.      Mouse button to select file for editing or viewing.

  107. (12) Add option -l -x for njstar command line:
  108.      -lfile - Load Macro file "file.NJM" into macro buffer for later execution
  109.      -xfile - Load Macro file "file.NJM" into macro buffer and execute it.
  110.      A utility NJMAC.EXE is provided for converting Macros.

  112. (13) Add Command <Replace> for Replacing without asking. mainly for Macros.

  114. (14) When user is prompted for entering a file name to be  edited.  F1  key
  115.      Can be used to bring up a list in a window of all  the  files  in  the
  116.      current diractory for selection. other diractories and drives can also
  117.      be navigated.

  144.       NJStar is not and has never been public domain software, nor  is
  145.       it free software.
  146.  
  147.       Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to  use  NJStar
  148.       on a 30-day trial basis for the purpose of  determining  whether
  149.       NJStar is suitable for their needs. The use  of  NJStar,  except
  150.       for the initial 30-day trial, requires registration. The use  of
  151.       unlicensed  copies  of   NJStar   by   any   person,   business,
  152.       corporation, government agency or any other entity  is  strictly
  153.       prohibited.

  155.       A single user license permits a user to use  NJStar  only  on  a
  156.       single computer. Licensed users may use the program on different
  157.       computers, but may not use the program on more than one computer
  158.       at the same time.

  160.       No one may modify or patch the NJStar executable  files  in  any
  161.       way, including but not limited to decompiling, disassembling, or
  162.       otherwise reverse engineering the program.

  164.       A limited license is granted to copy and distribute NJStar  only
  165.       for the trial use of others, subject to the  above  limitations,
  166.       and also the following:

  168.       1) NJStar must be copied in unmodified form, complete with the
  169.          file containing this license information.

  171.       2) The full machine-readable NJStar documentation must be
  172.          included with each copy.

  197.       The Author of NJStar warrants that all disks provided  are  free
  198.       from defects in material and workmanship, assuming  normal  use,
  199.       for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.

  201.       The Author of NJStar warrants that the program will  perform  in
  202.       substantial compliance with the documentation supplied with  the
  203.       software product. If a significant  defect  in  the  product  is
  204.       found, the Purchaser may return the product for a refund. In  no
  205.       event will such a  refund  exceed  the  purchase  price  of  the
  206.       product.

  208.       EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, THE AUTHOR  OF  NJSTAR  DISCLAIMS  ALL
